Ok, am I the worst patient in the world? I just had my mucocele removed on Friday by a very good ENT. The procedure took mere seconds and after a few stitches, I was on my way. It is now Monday and it is still a major pain! The wound itself looks very clean and I do have some swelling but nothing too serious. But I have been pounding back the Extra Strength Tylenol for the past 3 days. Am I the biggest suck on the planet or has anyone else experienced much pain in recovery.

I'm looking for a little sympathy since I'm not getting any sympathy from my wife!

Yo, I feel your pain, John! My mouth was pretty sore when I was recovering. I was taking Ibuprofen though, since that's an anti-inflamatory. Just keep eating soup! Panera Bread has lots of good soups if you have them in your area.

I just switched to Ibuprofen this morning since the Tylenol wasn't doing much. Many Thanks for the suggestion.
