I was at lunch with my husband today, happily munching on a turkey sandwich when I bit my lip really hard while chewing. Shortly after lunch, I noticed a lump right below my lower lip in the spot where I had bit it. It's hard, painless and moves around. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before lunch.
Anyway, being a total hypochondriac, I freaked out and took the rest of the day off! I came home and nervously googled all this horrific stuff...then I came across your site. Thank the forces above for this site! I'm still going to make an appointment with my primary care doc tomorrow but I feel pretty confident that it's a mucocele. There is even a spot of blood under the lip skin from the bite...
Thank you, thank you! I'm sure I would never have found this info on my own.
