I have read all your posts and decided I have a mucocele, went to my dermatoligest and he says to leave it alone, what ever I've had it for 3 years, It's more annoying every day. But he say's an oral surgen could fix it but it would be several years before it actually heals and looks smooth on my lower lip. Anybody agree with that? I'm calling an oral surgen tomorrow!!

Mark, is this on the OUTSIDE of your lip?

kadavy, Its located right where my upper and lower lip come together so if I close my mouth gently onside is open a little bit lol. I bite it when I eat sometimes to. it come as a result of bumping my lip on a cooler.

Well, I guess a little scar would be better than that? Better shop around a bit. Maybe you can find a plastic/oral surgeon!
