my most magnificent mucocele

hey, thanks for making this site for an annoying little health condition! It's probably the only one which didnt tell me that "I may have cancer" so it's a wonderful example of knowledge dispelling fear and paranoia. Anyway I've got a blob under the left side of my inner lip, invisible, painless, and I'm now pretty certain what it is. As soon as I read that it can be caused by biting the lip I knew what it was.......I am ashamed to say that I have had a bad habit of biting my lip for about nine years now (yes, nine years) and in particular, biting the area of my lip which is about a centimetre from this blob. Conclusion: I'd better damn well kick this habit...my body needn't give me a clearer message to stop it.
