Hi,
I had my mucocele for about 7 mo. now. Didn't go to the Dr. due to me waiting for my insurance and not really bugging me. I did poke it a few times and mucousy liquid cameout. I Got the mucocele due to a basketball injury to the lower lip (elbow to the lip). Well I finally decided to go see a ENT on Monday because it got worst 2 days ago. It has gotten bigger and now purple overnight. I was just wondering if I go under the knife..how long will it take for it to heal? I am going to Vegas on Feb 14 and i am trying to give myself a good amount of time to heal or close to healing. Hopefully after I see the ENT they wont make me wait a long time to get the surgery.
