Has anyone had a mucocele successfully frozen off? My doctor tried it just over a month ago, it shrank for a while then started growing again. I'm wondering if it ever actually had a chance of success.
I'm now waiting for a referral for surgery.

I've never heard of anyone having one frozen off. Could this actually work? I would think surgery would be inevitable since you need to remove the salivary gland. Would this somehow be affected by freezing?
Well it didn't work for me, so maybe it was a daft idea to begin with.

That looks like a great candidate for the CO2 laser ablation. I would opt for that over the knife, if possible. Good luck!!
We'll have to wait and see. I've got a clinic appointment for August 28th. Only seven weeks, then I can start waiting for the op instead!
