First of all I would like to say I love this site and the support here is great. Like so many of you others I have a sore on the inside of my bottom lip. Its been there for 3 1/2 months. I got it from biting my lip one day. It was unusually painful, and from that I got this dredful mouth sore. After about a month I went to the doc. she didn't know what it was so she gave me some antibotics. Needless to say nothing happend.
It has its cycles, it gets to big and I will pop it and mash out the clear stringy goo. Sometimes I bite it and it will fill up with blood and turn gray and hurt for days sometimes it doesent even bother me, until yesterday morning I bit into it while trying to eat breakfast. VERY painful it bled alot. So I decided to do something. I got on line and all I could come up with was cancer so I freaked for about 10min. until I found this site (my mucocel family).
I found an ENT so I go to the doctor tomorrow. I will post more then. Christie
