Tight band sensation

Hi, like most of you, I too had a mucocele. I had mine removed by an oral surgeon 10 weeks ago. I did experience swelling and discomfort after the removal and was quite alarmed to find out, my incision required 10 stitches to close. I was told it would most likely be two to three. Anyway, now that the stitches have disolved and the incision is healed, I still am having a feeling of a tight band in my lower lip. I still have some numbness and tightness which I seem to notice more first thing in the morning when I wake up. The best way I can describe the tightness is like a feeling of a stiff patch in the area of the incision? I also at times still experinece difficulty with speech, especially while trying to pronounce the letter F or the number 5. Does, this seem like a normal post-op thing? Does anyone remember feeling any of this after their surgery? Thanks for the reply.
