I live in the UAE, Dubai to be exact and we are at the hot time of year ie - 45 degree and 60 - 70- % humidity. I had never heard of a blocked saliva gland for eg until I got one in my cheek here and had it diagnosed however something else has come or maybe it was always there.
I tend to bit my lip as I have a condition that affects my jaw alignment and can cause athritic symptoms from time to time. The other day I slightly bit the inside of my bottom lip causing a small ulceration. This is normal for me however it caused me to probe around as one does and I have found just below what feels like a pea shaped painless lump under the skin (not visable). I have examined this and roled it around my finger, it does not seem that fixed but none the less it is worrying as I used to smoke but gave up some years ago. If I push my tongue against it I can feel it, but its not visable.
I am 42 and in good health and fit. Any ideas of what this might be. This may have been answered already but I am at work and have no time to scan through as yet, but will.
Cheers
Matt

Impossible for anyone to say. I think everyone here would say that you need to get it checked out by a physician. On a personal note, I had a layover at the Dubai Airport when I was going to and coming back from Delhi. The airport was quite the place, very opulent. Good luck.
