4 year old with 2 on lower lip, normal?

Is it normal to have more than one at a time? Our dentist and pediatricitian diagnosed her lumps as mucoceles, but from what I've researched, it appears people only have one at a time. She has two centimeters apart on her lower lip that will have to be surgically removed, so they say.
I suppose if your two year old has a bad habit of biting her lips when she eats or otherwise, it is quite possible to have 2 mucoceles at once. Improbable, but possible. If surgery doesn't give you warm fuzzies, and since mucoceles are generally harmless unless infected, you could wait to see if the problem goes away (as some are apt to do). Of course, I'm no doc. I hope that your wee girl feels better soon. Take care.
