Possible Mucocele??

Hi, im 17 years old and have recently noticed a small bump on teh inside of my lower lip. I began freaking out immediately as i have been using dip (tobacco) for about a year and a half or so. I did not do it a lot but the fact is that i still did do it so its in the back of mi mind. Because of this any small bump in my mouth i immediately think is cancer. However, wen i read about what a mucocele is it sounds like this could be wat i have. I read you can get a mucocele from trauma against your lip, or sucking or biting too much on your lip. This sounds like dip could def lead to one of these as you suck on the tobacco and it rubs against your gum. The bump itself is fairly small and painless, but is annoying. I find myself constantly playing with it either with my tounge or my fingers. The bump has a white top to it (like a pimple) adn i have been wripping it off. Its not clear or blister looking (like pics from online) but looks more like a pimple becasue of the white head. I have also had the bump for almost 3 weeks now, has gotten smaller but not by a lot. Does anyone kno if this sounds like a mucocele?
yesterday i finally went in with some tweezers and needles lol (sounds like surgery or sumtin) As i said my bump (hopefully mucocele) doesnt necesarilly look like the blisters and enormous bumps shown on the internet. Mine is a bump that is gum colored with a very pointy top that is white (like a pimple) Yesterday i went in and did some work removing skin around it (blood involved) I did this to more isolate the white bump at the top. I then realized that if i pushed on the skin around the bump that it enlarged with fluid (bump is very small, biggest it got was half the size of a pencil eraser) I then went to work adn wripped this out of mi mouth as well. As i said because i was essentially removing skin from my lip there was blood. Today the bump is smaller and not pointed, but i obv have some cuts that are healing. There is still a bump in my mouth, but it is much flatter and will hopefully go away now that the small "bubble" is gone. As i said, im not 100% sure its a mucocele or not, but im going to continue to monitor the bump for anotehr week or 2 as i have a dentist appt coming up anyways
