What should I do about this lump thingy?

This thingy inside my lip has been there for about 8 months.I got it around May of 2007 now its December of 2007. Im glad this site gave me info on what this lump thingy is? My million dollar question is what should I? Im only 18. Does age have anything to do with it? Thank you.

Age doesn't matter...see a dentist and get a referral to an oral surgeon. You can live with it or you can have it taken out.
