I got my mucocele a little over a month ago. Had most of the same symptoms as everyone else. But now it is just a lump in my mouth. No head, no clear bubble. When I try popping it, nothing comes out, and my lip just gets swollen from my pinching it - trying to get the puss out. Its pretty deep, and I think if I got it removed they would have to take a whole bunch out, which terrifies me. Has any of your mucoceles formed a semi solid lump? Did it just stay that way? Are my attempts at trying to keep popping causing more harm than good?
p.s. Any posters who starting posting about how they think they found the cure, and never posted again, please update us on your success or failure.

It has probably changed character due to the repeated prodding of it which is why it now feels different. If you can't live with it, then you'll need to get it removed. Don't worry, the hole left will quickly be filled in by new tissue. It's not a problem.
