I've seen an ENT a dentist and finally today an oral surgeon. Definitely go to an oral surgeon who uses a laser!!!!!! I had a very large and deep mucocele in my front lip. ENT tried draining it and made it come back bigger. It took about 5 minutes at the oral surgeon with the laser using a local and not only did it not hurt but it still is doing pretty good 6 hours later in terms of pain. Didn't even need stitches despite the fact it was one of the bigger ones my surgeon had seen. Medical insurance covered it all. She did think I would probably need one more laser treatment because it was so big and she was trying to stay away from the nerves.
