I was hit in the mouth and had a 1 inch laceration. It healed but about 5 months ago I started getting these hard little bumps inside the front of my lower lip. My doctor said they were "pressure bumps" and there was nothing to do about them. I went to a dentist who X-rayed them and he referred me to an oral surgeon since he didn't know what they were. I am scared to go to an oral surgeon. The bumps almost go away when I am sleeping but being awake and eating seems to make them "pop" up again. They are enclosed and most are like pin points but they drive me crazy!!! Has anyone had anything similiar? Thanks!

No, but don't be scared of an oral surgeon. You can bet he's probably seen it all before. My oral surgeon was vey understanding, comforting, and professional. I still send him Christmas cards :^)

I'll second that! My oral surgeon made me feel so much better about the situation than any previous doctors had. I send her Christmas cards, too! :)
