Mucocele

It seems like most posts describe their Mucoceles as a clear/white lump of the lip. I definitely have a lump and it has been growing on a daily basis but it's not white. Prior to reading these posts, I didn't know that biting your lip could cause such a thing, but I believe that is how I got mine.

This isn't me, but mine looks like this...

It doesn't seem like it would be easy to pop. Have any of you had a Mucocele that isn't white and used the pop-Listerine method?

Thanks,

The one in the photograph appears to be lodged under a thicker layer of skin. I'm no expert, but I think the pop-Listerine or salt method might not have as much success with this one. I can't imagine the rinse method being able to penetrate a healthy thick layer of skin like this one. The mucoceles I was able to remove by rinsing with salt were more superficial, and the thin layer of skin quickly dried up and sloughed off.
