After biting my lip several times in one week(i have large lips haha) i developed a mucocele. I didnt know what it was right off and i actually found this website on my sidekick while siting in the waiting room. Anywho after my initial visit where the doctor popped it and a month of me popping it everyday, today I finally had it removed. I have to say, when i got home i cried like a baby it hurt so bad. I dont want to scare anyone, but once the numbness wore off it hurt like a sonofabitch for about 2 hours. It doesnt hurt as bad now, but at first it was terrible. I have a few questions. How many people have had a post op problem with their surgery? how long till my lip swelling goes down? And what can I do to make this process go smoothly, because right now this is pretty terrible.
