I read about a few different treatments on this website and I decided to try a few things and somehow the combination worked for me. I can still see where the mucocele was but there is NO bump. My lump was huge and you could see it when a spoke. It popped one night and I had read that there is a remedy where they put a stitch in to keep it open. I knew I couldn't put a stitch in myself so I decided to get some lancets (tiny sterile pins) so I could try poking the hole a few times a day to keep it open. I always brushed my teeth and used Listerine beforehand to try and remove any bacteria to prevent infection. Each time I poked it I then applied a product called Gly-oxide which is an antiseptic oral cleanser. I started to get a canker sore which I believed was from to much use of the Listerine so I stopped using the Listerine and applied the Gly-Oxide to the sore and it made the canker sore disappear also. I hope the mucocele is gone for good but only time will tell.
