How to pop it?

I know exactly what you mean, because when I popped mine, the same thing happened to me. What you really have to do is just push the needle in harder. The blood is coming from the layer before the sac where all the calcium and saliva is. so once you get passed the blood, you're half way there. Just keep pushing the needle in.

Actually, when i popped mine, i put the needle in through one side and out through the other. I would say to try that before going to get it checked out. Good luck.

Well I tried again but to no avail. However the thing, after almost 3 months, started diminishing in size after i brutalized it...so i let it be and all there was left was a little white dot. Then one morning it was back again, butit is diminishing now again. it's the weirdest thing. So I'm just waiting with my fingers crossed at this point since i don't feel like going under the knife. If I do ever pop it again I will repost with details!

Mine was just like that. Sometimes, the sac can be visible from the outside which makes it easier. I used isopropyl alcohol swabs (very common at all stores) on a needle. The swells do not have nerves so there should be no pain.

I just poked mine with a needle and then squeezed it really hard with my thumb and index finger in a vertical press. It felt like i popped a pimple. Right now it feels flat. I hope it doesn't return

i did this and was so relieved and then it returned the next day. so i did it again, and it went away...and came back the next day.....and i did it again...but now it won't go away - just keeps bleeding if i poke it. so i stopped messing with it.

Well make sure you squeeze it really really hard. You'll notice another pop. It will squirt out but it will be a clearer liquid. It will be mixed with blood so you'll know what i'm talking about. Mine is still flat. It's been about 2 days now and it hasnt come back. so squeeze with all your might!
