has anyone seen anything like this? i've been really stressed and it came out of nowhere, and it doesn't hurt, so i guess i'll ice it and rinse with salt water for a week or so, and see how it goes. i don't have insurance, so hopefully it's not serious.

i should add that it's painless. it's just a large red bump. from what i see online, it most closely matches the description of a mucocele, painless sac/bump.

is it possible to get a mucocele on the middle of a tongue's underside?

From what I have heard, you can get a mucocele anywhere there's a salivary gland, so I think it would be possible under the tongue. In my not-professional opinion, that's a mucocele, but really, you should get it checked out.
