I'm at my wit's end. I've been getting multiple mucoceles for the past year now. The first one I had for a few years before finally having it removed at the beginning of this year. Since then I've had countless others in various spots on my inner lower lip that have responded well to salt rinses and sometimes Listerine. But, I've had enough of having to deal with one every few weeks. A latest one has been around for a month now and is only a speck right now, but isn't completely healing. If I stop the rinse treatments then it inflates again. And this morning I've found yet another one in another spot. I really have no idea know what to do. I can't imagine having to have surgery to remove each and every one. I still have the scar tissue from my surgery, with a tiny lump on the top of my lip, and the one that won't go away is right beside it. I really don't want more scar tissue. Added to that, my doctor and the ENT I saw thinks these things are rather trivial and seem kind of annoyed with having to deal with them. Who knows what they'll think if I show up at the office with no noticeable lesions.
