Last night I discovered a pea shaped bump on the inside of my lower lip. There's no colour to it; it's hard and I can move it around with my toungue. I can't find any info on whether or not it is possibly a mucocele.
**Can anyone move their mucocele around slightly with their toungue??
Hi, i'm in the exact same situation as you. Colourless, hard, pea shaped bump on lower lip that i can move around a little bit. Reading the site it sounds like i have a mucocele (fingers crossed it's just that) and reading that you have the same thing is comforting and leads me to think it is a mucocele...either that or we both have oral cancer, heh. But from waht i've read a pea shaped bump isn't really that likely to be cancer without other symptoms with it.
Best thing to do is go see a doctor so t hey can refer you to an oral expert.
Interested to know what happened here as I have the same thing. It was originally alot bigger for the first week but hasn't changed for the next 3 weeks. I'm 28. I am going traveling in a few days so don't have time to see a specialist. Just need to put my mind at rest after freaking out from googling.
