Very hard lump, now a soft lump patch.

Hello,

I need some advice. In the summer when I was working I noticed a small lump inside the lower lip to the left. It was very hard and could be moved around slightly, very much like a bb pellet. I worried about this and went to the doctors but got and appointment with the nurse. I'm pretty sure she didn't actually know what I was on about and discribe it as a spare bit and assured me I had more.

Anyway after a few weeks the lump went down and is now not noticeable at all but just above where the lump was is what feels like a soft lumpy piece of tissue. Not sure if I have always had this but the hard lump got me paranoid. It doesn't cause any discomfort and there is no sores?

Thanks for any help

Tony

Probably a scar from the mucocele, or the actual damaged salivary gland that caused the damn thing. Mention it to your dentist...
