Suggestion on Surgery

I have had a mucocele for about 5 months now (1 cm) and I want to know from experience when I should get the surgery done. I currently go to school and I have 1 week off in the middle of February and I thought I could get the mucocele removed then, but I'm reading that it takes a little more than a week for the pain and suffering to reduce so I can go out in public. That week off I also need to study because I have exams right when I return to school. So do you guys think I can study when I'm in pain or will I by lying in bed?

The thing is I really don't want to wait until April, when I'm finished school, to do this surgery because it would be about 8-9 months!

Any insight?

Thanks!

My opinion is that the pain won't be bad enough to interrupt your plans.

A lot depends on how big your little friend is...where it's at...and your pain tolerence.

I just had a lump taken off the roof of my mouth yesterday, and other than an annoying stitch and a couple days of a softer diet...I'm fine. When I had my mucoceles removed...lower lip and back near my tonsil...I was fine after a day
