Hi i have had this lump for about 4 years now, it is blue and looks a bit veiny and gives me no irritation at all. I saw a doctor and he said it was a subcuteanous cyst, nothing to worry about. Am i right in thinking that it is a mucocele? I am OCDing after watching a mouth cancer advert so if anyone can help that is much aprreciated thanks!!

Probably not a mucocele, but probably not serious either. If you've had it for four years, it's a safe bet it's not cancer. I'd have a dentist take a look at it though...maybe a referral to an oral surgeon
