burst mucocele

I recently, and painfully, burst a mucocele against my gum. It did not break the mucosa but simply spread out beneath the tissue.

Will I have done any harm?

I would say no....mine would flatten out and then "bloom" again in a cycle

No, same as bigjohnny, my mucocele would flatten and then get bigger. You didn't do any harm. but it shouldn't have hurt. so maybe you did do a little harm, but it's nothing to worry about. You might want to get it removed.
