Mucocele irritated when eating?

Glad to find this forum, couldn't even fathom what this thing in my mouth was when I accidentally bit my inner cheek a few weeks ago... the info from everyone on this forum is helpful.

I'm wondering if anyone else finds their mucocele to become more irritated after eating or at the end of the day. I keep thinking that mine is a little less swollen in the morning but after going through the routines of the day (talking, eating, etc) it is bigger.  Especially if I eat food that requires a lot of chewing or is crunchy, etc. I know the mucocele is from a salivary gland so am just wondering if less talking/eating helps-- Has anyone found that adjusting their diet (maybe to softer food) helps a little with the swelling?
