Just noticed a dime sized lump in my lower right cheek. I tried to get a picture of it but not sure how good it will show you the detail. It's well down in the mouth, at the very bottom and it has grown upwards. Really need some help 'cause I don't know what it is and frankly am a bit scared of yet another dental procedure.

It's that bulbous mass that you can see shining in the light of the camera.

Well, whatever it was... it burst. The fluid was yellowish with very slight blood, also a salty taste. Very slight pain right now but it just burst a few minutes ago. Could it have been a mucocele?

Yes...could have been and prolly was a mucocele, based on what I can see in the picture.  Keep an eye on the area...

It is there, just significantly smaller. Now that I think about the yellowish fluid was more straw yellow in color and stringy... like string cheese, just not cheese, clinged a bit too which leads me to believe it was mucussy.
