Strange lump in my mouth!

I recently have a small lump on the bottom of my lip.  It is about half a centimeter.I have pictures of it, and I don't have any history of cold sores.  Over the past two days, its been growing larger and larger. It stings very slightly, but more of a uncomfortable sensation.  Here are some pictures I uploaded. 

I'm hoping its not a cold sore, because I'm afraid to get herpes.
