Surgery side-effects/ one week post-op.

I saw some other posts with similar side-effects but I just wanted to ask. I'm officially one week post-op and the stitches have all fallen out, except a small knot that seems to still be there. However, the incision is vertical and off to the left side is a small craer-like spot that is covered by a white, for lack of better terminology, "thing". Also, at the bottom of the incision is a small, hard little white bump. Someone previously said something about, "invisible stitches" ? Just need a little closure as to how I'm healing a week after the mucocele slaughter. Just wanted some insight guys!! thanks!

I'm a week out of surgery too (today). They gave me standard stitches and I had them removed this afternoon. My lip was sliced parralel with the lip on the top edge (of the bottom lip).
I have a bump/raised portion on both ends of the cut which looks raised but it's only scar tissue and is more blanched than the rest (white). I think it'l go away with time or when the missing fat fills in.
Hope that helps.

2 weeks out, yesterday. This is me documenting the recovery. I think it sucks because its slow. I still have no pain. The stitches are gone for one week. I can feel the scar tissue if I look for it. It doesnt feel un-natural anymore. I slurred my speech for two weeks and now I speak normally (Southern).
My problem is the gap in my lip from the missing gland. It pisses me off when I smile. Today someone asked me what happened to my lip. "One day it was there , the next there was a gap."
Just waiting for my lip to come back.

By the way: I have feeling all around the area of the incision, but nothing in the area. If you tap the sides you can feel with a needle, than the interior, you can feel nothing. My dentist showed me this. Labs confirmed it was a mucuscelle 3 days ago.
