It is indeed a mucocele. She charged me $130 to tell me so. I'm going in next Wednesday to get it lasered off. The cost of the procedure is $525. Seems a little pricey to me but I think insurance will cover some of it. I'll put up another picture of what it looks like after they laser it off if I have time. Also, I think I got mine from getting hit in the face by a young child. I teach swim lessons and a kid hit me in the face right below my lower lip (on the other side of where the mucocele appeared). I think my teeth hit into my salivary glands when this occurred. He was jumping into the pool so it was kind of a lot of force. Well, good luck to everyone!

Insurance should cover it....tell them to bill both your dental and medical plan.  Worked for me.

Insurance is covering 80%. Here is a picture of what it looks like after they lasered it off. It looks kind of scary! Its suppose to turn whitish by tomorrow. O, and it didn't really hurt just smelled funny.
