Yet another new place to get a mucocele

Now that I know what they are, I find I get a lot of them in different places...most very small...inside the cheek near the parotid duct...inside the lip...even the roof of my mouth....yes I found out via the oral surgeon that we have salivary glands on the roofs of our mouth.

Lately I had one on that pillar of flesh between the upper and lower back molar on my right side.  It was a classic mucocele.  Went down after a couple days, and hasn't reappeared..yet.

Just goes to show you...you can get them in some strange places...
