Home treatment for mucoceles that works every time

I have some sad mucocele news :( I feel like mine will always be a small resident mucocele until I get surgery. I had the laser on it and it went down for months, then recurred and I did the alum it went down for months. But it just came back a week ago. I've put the alum on it and it looks like the flat white crater again, but I definitely feel the knot underneath and it's almost painful this time. I'll keep going a few days then probably get a consult.

I bought Domeboro, its an astrigent with aluminum acetate, which I'm pretty sure I read is made with alum. Can somebody tell me if this is accurate? I put the stuff on my lips with a little bit of water and then it burned it till it calloused and now looks like a lumpy scab. I used listerine and some hyrdrogen peroxide. Did anyone experience any problems? I'm kind of afraid these chemicals shouldnt be used on the lips. Anyway. The Domeboro stuff dried my lip out at the mucocele looks like its scabbed over. Do I still keep apply the stuff? Someone help me!!!

try primrose oil it worked for me and its not abrasive

use primrose oil. I heard really favourable reviews. After a few applications my swelling went down significantly. And its soft for your lips. Alum from what am reading is to harsh.

What is alum ? Where can i get it ? And define burst . How would the mucocele burst ? Please answer me , I'm starting to imagine the mucocele to burst like a balloon .
