I'm so sure I have a mucocele... I started playing trumpet a few weeks ago, and now IT appeared.
I attached 3 photos of it. Pleease help me, I'm going to a doctor tomorrow, but I'm very very afraid of a scar in the exterior part of my lip... Are it going to happen after the surgery? Will they have to cut my lip?

Hi. Your doctor should not have to cut your lip. Mine was very close to my lip, so the cut ALMOST extends to my lip, but just so. I do not think that I will have an exterior scar. My advice would be to express this concern to your doctor and see what he says. This picture is from the day after my removal.

Nah, you won't have a scar on the outside of your lip. Your oral surgeon will know enough to take it out from the INSIDE of your lip.
Here's what they did for mine:
Tiny pokes from some numbing needles
They make a SMALL incision (my mucocele was about 3 times the size of yours), so my incision was about 1/8 of an inch long
They push the mucocele itself out, cut around it and any other impacted tissues
Sew you back up, and voila, tell you to put ice on it and give you pain killers
I didn't need the pain killers, just a good nap, and I was fine
I had a swollen lip for a day or two, but you couldn't even really tell.
My lips were a bit dry after the surgery, but it wasn't a big deal.
Now, about 9 months after my surgery, I can tell there's some numbing/tingling where that incision was, but that's to be expected when they cut out part of yoru body where there are nerve endings, but I"m willing to live with that instead of a giant lump in my mouth.
Don't be worried, and keep playing that trumpet - just be careful when putting it to your lips. The impact of the metal to your mouth may have caused the mucocele, so be gentle!
