Lump in mouth, need information, please help!

In 2007-2008 I was at a church camp, and we were all playing capture the flag in the dark. Somehow, I clumsily tripped and my mouth collided with concrete.
    I probably needed stitches, but the leader of the Camp didn't take me. A few months later, I got Scar Tissue Removal Surgery. After surgery, the doctor said that I should massage it and that it would take around a year for it to go back to normal. A year later, I went back for a check up, and he took some more off, and said the same thing to me. That was last year in August.
    I haven't seen any signs of change. I don't know if this is ever going to heal, or if I'm going have to live the rest of my life with a huge lump hanging down. Please respond and tell me what's going on, and any advice would be welcome!
