question about healing, 10 days post surgery (laser)

Ok , so I went to the doctor today and she told me that it will fill in over time. So if anyone has a similar situation , don't freak out it will fill in in a couple of weeks.

Seriously so glad there is a forum for this!!! that you for sharing your experience! my dentist did a referral to an oral surgeon...called them and was told my primary medical Dr had to do a referral too... it has been almost 2 months!! frustrated!! than you !!

You had it done by laser?  Lucky you!  Based on everything I've read, that seems to be the least risky method, but my oral surgeon said that it wouldn't work for mine because he needed to precisely excise the salivary glands and the laser just vaporizes tissue, and thus is ill-suited to perform such a delicate task.  

Did she tell you that she removed the glands with the laser as well?  How long did you have your mucocele, and how big was it, if you don't mind my asking?

I had the mucocele for 3 years , it was probably about 3 cm . It's been 3 weeks and it's almost completely healed.
