White Film

So I got my mucocele removed Monday, the 27th, and I got my stitches out yesterday. My oral surgeon said it was healing really well but I had this white film on it. He referred to this as dead skin and told me to rub this with a wet Q-Tip. I did this and most of the white film came off but now i see this large dent in my lip. 

Is this going to be an issue?
