Mucosele on base of mouth...

About a year ago, I had something hard forming on the base of my mouth, it ended up turning into a clear little ball and then popping... it's been repeating this cycle for over a year now.

A while back, my dentist cauterized it thinking it would go away... it didn't.

Everytime I make an appointment with my surgeon, they say come in the next day, by that time it's popped and has gone away.

Is this a clogged mucosele... is there a natural way to fix it... doc wants to remove it and biopsy it...

The dentist cauterized for a good 12-15 seconds... he couldn't have cause any futher damage could he?  He said it would make the salvitory gland go away.... said there were thousands of them.

Any thoughts?
