Multiple bumps on ligament on floor of mouth

Hi, there....

About two months ago, I noticed that I have multiple bumps on the ligament on the floor of my mouth.  They feel like little pebbles and are painless.  There has been no change to them in the the two months, but they are driving me crazy because I keep playing with them with my tongue.  They are hard and unmovable.

Please advise.

I'd check it out with a dentist if you can (a lot of non-oral doctors aren't too familiar with issues like these, from my experience anyways, and they end up being a waste of time). Your situation sounds like something similar to mucoceles, but can't say for certain. After two months, it doesn't seem like they'll go away. Good luck, and I hope it's nothing serious!
