You need to get in contact with an ENT (Ear-, Nose-, Throat) Specialist that does alliva glands. Not all of them do. Tell him like you told us here above. If you're lucky, you have a stone blocking one of the glad ducts and he can just push it out. Can't be expensive and the ultrasound picture he needs to make to see where the stone is also costs next to nothing. Maybe you find one with a good heart, who will agree to a deal, that you can pay him in small amounts per month. Asking doesn't cost anything. Try. This thing won't go away by itself. Let us know how you're doing. We'd love to know when it's fixed and what was done. You can help other people who are also suffering with this with good advice then.

i am from philippines, i've got an oral ranula for almost 3 weeks. i think i got this when i am eating pork chop and accidentally crushed in my gum (whoo!! it was so painful..) then as the day goes by, i noticed that there was a bluish balloon-like at the floor of my mouth ...i searched the web for days and nights finding what that is. WEB: professionals said that this maybe a result of traumatic incidents that cause a blockage on your salivary gland...-something like that (like what happened to my gum i think...) then, one day i found an article; gargling water with salt may cure that oral ranula / mucocele... So i tried it, i put i think 1 tbsp of salt in a glass of water and i gargle it. (better if 3 tyms a day i think... then 1 day, at my work, when i am in lying position, suddenly it blows up and secretes viscous liquid ( eeewww...) then i notice that it is getting smaller until it disappear. i am not sure about the salt and water but its not bad if u try too. try to search about oral ranula. and its also better if u consult to a physician/ doctor of EENT. Goodluck and Godbless. -les
