WOW!! So many like minded lumpy lipped friends!!

Hi everyone!
I too have a lump on the inside of my bottom lip, it's about the size of a petit pois at present!
It swells up everytime I have a cold or am run down (or very hungover!!), it gets bigger and bigger and redder and angrier then it pops! And a few days later and my lip is back to normal, as if the little lumpy bubble had never existed in the first place. Magic!
Is it a Mucocele?? I don't know!
This has been happening for years, since I was about 5 years old, (and I'm 24 years old now!).
One of my earliest childhood memories is of me screaming and being held down at the doctors surgery by my Mum and Granny while the nurse painted a stingy solution on my little lump! This was a near monthly occurrance for about 6 years...they called it a polyp. I don't know what that means but I much prefer Mucocele, it sounds quite sophisticated!! Like a pretty French lady?!
I am visiting the doctors at 5.10pm today to hopefully find out exactly what it is! Although it's been with me a while I feel it's time to get rid!! I shall keep you posted and would apreciate any advice on the matter!!
