Cosmetic emergency

I've had a mucocele on my lower lip for about two months now, but it hasn't been a problem- inside my lower lip, not visible, has cycled through swelling/bursting/shrinking about three times. However, tonight at dinner I accidentally bit it- twice. It's turned red, like it's full of blood, and is so swollen that you can see it in my mouth no matter what I do. I have a doctors appointment for next week, but unfortunately I have a very important follow-up job interview- tomorrow at eleven. It's a front desk position at a hotel, so my smile is VERY important! It was actually something I was complimented on during the first interview! Should I pop it? If so, should I wait until tomorrow so it doesn't swell up again? Help me, please!
