Mucocele Candidate

I think I've had this for over a year but never got it checked on the basis it would dissappear and reappaear. I think it used to be more pus-filled and more bubble like, but with repeated bursts it's much more solid now. I can feel that it's no deeper than it is wide (like 5mm). It is kinda of half way from my inside bottom lip to my inside cheek, sitting beside my first molar when i close my mouth.

I showed my dad it (a retired GP and he said a cancerous lump would be more uneven round the sides but told me to go to to the dentist so I've booked an appointment for Monday).

Have any of you had that experience - of continued popping making it much more solid?
